This was a project I had always wanted to make part of my living room. I collaborated with an architect specialized in interior design that shares my similar interests. She motivated me to carry out this project together. We purchased the table from IKEA, measured the size of the hole we needed to cut to insert a mirror and glass.

Basically the way this works is by putting a mirror on the hole of the mirror. Then, a border is added where the LED strips will be placed. This border is painted in black to enhance the infinity effect. Finally, we used a clear glass and put on it a solar film to reflect the lights back into the mirror and by doing so generating the desired effect.

In the future, I plan on attaching a power supply underneath the table, so I won’t have a cable going across the living room into the outlet.
